Dirty Girl Getting Black Highlights...

UPDATED... My Red Head will be in the shop over the weekend letting her new colors cure a bit... Here are some preliminary shots of her yesterday and this morning.

History,
Last month I went to the DCX SoCal Spring Fling. After 2600 miles of driving my girl had suffered some serious rock damage.

I took her into the ONLY shop I trust to do my body work and paint, Precision Collision in Everett, WA. They are the ones who originally installed and painted my custom RK Sport hood with carbon fiber overlay.

When I took my girl in on Monday, I kiddingly mentioned giving her a two-tone paint job...

Two days later, Doug from Precision Collision calls me and asks if I am serious. I hopped in a coworker’s car and met with him and Chris. Chris is the actual painter who did the RK Sport hood project back in February.

The paint is black with Inferno Red Metallic Flake. From a distance and in darker light she will look like a two tone black and red job... Once the light hits it the black will pop with the same red hues that the Inferno red has.

They also clear coated the Ralph Gilles and Adam Forte signatures I got while in SoCal for the Spring Fling last month.

I do not have enough nice things to say about Precision Collision or their employees... from Mischelle who always greets me on the phone and front office to Doug, Chris, and the rest. WOW what a team.

She is getting the front inset grill section, area between the carbon fiber scoop and central side hood line, roof, and spoiler painted gloss black with Inferno Red metal flake.

FRom a distance it will look red with a black roof, then when the light hits the black it will pop with the same red hues that the Inferno red has.

The gas cap door is just part of an edashkit.com dress up kit... They offer interior and exterior real carbon fiber.

The interior is red/black carbon fiber.

The pillars and rear hatch handle are also covered.

I think you've gone mad, but Brotha....you nailed it! I can't wait see it in the flesh. I'm really liking the red flake. It beams in just the lighting. I'll bet it's really going to jump in the direct sun!!!
