    Constructing new grill

    I have had this in my mind for a about a month and thought that I would start my new grill.
    This is the OLD SXT Grill

    In our shop We have a lot of vehicles come in so this grill from a caught my eye.

    So I took out the stock grill inserts.



    cut out the slats

    OMG, you were reading my mind....I was at the dealership today measuring srt8 magnum grills to see how many panels I could fabticate into my grill frame....


    never thought to look at the ram...way more surface area...I also have plastic samples coming from Hexcel to see if they carry something similar in a stock sheet.....

    Both sides cut out


    Measure up with the Ram Grill



    Cut out Ram grill and test fit on old grill frame



    Test fit one side .



    That is all I could do for the night. I will finish glueing up the inserts and paint in the AM.

    The Rams Grills are 03-05 I think . Bought the set from e-bay for 20 bucks. Cant wait to finish this.

    Suspense sux man! This should look pretty sweet - can't wait to see the outcome. Love the look of the MSRT8 grille - I'd consider doing somthing like this...

    ohhhh Good find, I was giving up hope on getting an SRT8 type of grill for my RT.

    Started looking at mess grills.....

    Cant wiat to see this finished !!!
