Chin spoiler work...screw the OEM rivets.

I pulled my chin spoiler for glossing and detailing. Decided to say screw those rivets. Some have done as me with bolts from behind.

Got 12 nylon bolts and screws and some 60 second epoxy. Epoxied some washers to the bolts for more backing on the fascia. You can see the old style black rivet with the fingers. Had to cut the heads off to get them out.

    Mount the bolts from behind.

Nut them up to the spoiler.

And now I can remove it easier for maintenance and repainting.

Thank you. The sticker won't last. I'll be getting the MOPOWER spoiler. The whites are not even close. Took a shot for looks but they are far apart.

Looks good - I like the Charger on the spoiler. I too want a Mopower spoiler, just afraid with all the road driving I would get a rock or something.

Ideas like this one and many others make so much sense, make life easier. Why couldn't Chrysler have done it this way from the start?
