    Chargum fender question...

    I have been noticing a few more "chargums" popping up in the forum. I was just wondering if the fender issue has been simplified? I know that the original "chargum" had to cut and weld and smooth, etc. Has somebody made aftermarket fenders for the conversion yet?

    nope it hasnt been simplified you will have to customize your own fenders unless charg-um starts making them available for everyone

    drats... What type of man hours are put in to it for one? I have a customizing shop by me that I know would tackle the job...for a price. I noticed too that yours doesnt seem to have the bulge that Chargum had to make caps for on the top.

    i took mine to topbanana_445 he had it for 3 days cut and welded the 2 fenders together. then took it to Ruff n tuff to smooth it out and paint it for about a week. so im not sure how many hours it took

    but it sure was expensive

    you have to weld half a charger fender on a magnum fender... kind of like frankenstien!!!!!!

    No offense to Chargum but you fenders look better to me, so why don't you take the opportunity to make some money and recoup your install cost and have a fiber glass mold made of your fenders. I'm sure that most people here would be willing to pay about $500 or so for the set.
