    black/black chrome exhaust tip

Has anyone put a black/black chrome exhaust tip on? Do you have pictures?

It's something that not as common and it may be for a very good reason, we don't know. :D

We have a silver SXT and would like to take a slightly different approach in that instead of the Daytona look (flat black) we're going gloss black

I don't know how tolerable black chrome is to heat but obviously something that I would be doin some research on. Last thing you want is your nice tips goin all fruity on ya. I've had black tips installed on my car for almost a year and I still love em!

Hmmm, I never thought of this.
I think if and when I get my exhaust I may do 5" black tips.

If you have the color scheme to match your car, do it.
Im a practical joker, so dont take anything seriously. GOT IT. GOOD.

I bought regular chrome 4" tips, took them to the powdercoater and had mine done... They look awesome. No problems with heat
