    Auto Dimming Side mirrors

    Anyone know how to upgrade both sideview mirrirs to be auto dimming mirrors like the rear view mirror (w/ the bluetooth option)

    Hmm... I've never even heard of that before. If its an option on the 300 then yes it is possible. If not then we'll have to wait for an after market alternative.

    is is an option on the driver side only on the 300

    do you think that the mods you are doing with seat memory may effect that?

    No it should be independent... I'll look INTO it. I haven't been able to find that as an option on the 300 so maybe its standard on it. Either way I bet it requires a full swap of the mirror housing. That probably isn't to hard itself but it means that we would have to have it painted to match the vehicle which might be expensive with the pearl coats.

    It should just hook INTO the autodimming rear view mirror for the sensor. I'm almost positive that's how it is on other cars. (plus power and ground naturally)

    Yeah, it uses the sensor FROM the rear view mirror. Whats weird is that according to all the documentation we should have it. I haven't tested it yet though. Its not listed as an option anywhere I can find so I don't know what to say...
