    Question Anyone ever paint their hood hydraulic struts?

    I was thinking of painting my hydraulic hood struts...yes Mopar Blue baby!...just wondeirng if there was anything special to the removal and reinstall.

    to remove use a straight blade screwdriver to pull the top clip off (at the hood)

    at the inner fender, slide the little bracket up, and the strut will "fall off" into your hand...

    Make sure someone holds the hood for you though... LOL
