    3m vinyl

Hey I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 3m scotchbright gloss black 1080 carbon fiber vinyl. I am looking for some sun light pics an if possible and comparison against real carbon. Any feed back would be great.

By far, Dinoc is the easiest CF vinyl to work with. I have wrapped hundreds of complex interior parts in this stuff.
SOLD: 22" American Racing Torque Trust "M", Custom Flowmaster Catback, LED Tails, Projector Headlights, OE Radio with Bluetooth, Nav, and DVD, 6000K HID Low Beams, 6000K HID Fogs, SRT8 Full Seat Swap, SRT8 Suspension Swap, C&L Intake, Diablo Predator 93 Octane Tune, Papa John Pistol grip shifter, leather wrapped center console, leather wrapped shift bezel. 1 pissed off wife.....shoulda bought an SRT8!!

    scotchbrite?..... you mean this stuff?

I think you mean scotchprint 1080... 3M's regular stuff is scotchcal, and the reflective is scotchlite.

The 1080 series just added a buttload more color options including some nice metallics FYI

I had my roof wrapped with Oracal's gloss black vinyl. I'm pretty happy with the stuff.

I've also wrapped my phone with the 3m Scotchprint CF vinyl. Stuff is amazing to work with. I used some ebay white CF vinyl (no name vinyl) on my phone before and it was garbage.

Are you talking everything you've seen is more matte black? or more matte CF? the CF will always have a bit of matte appearance as it's a textured surface. I will be wrapping a hood with a pretty tall snorkel scoop on it with CF wrap right over x-mas break for my uncle. I'll get some pics if it goes well. It'll be a challenge to do it seamless.

The carbon pattern itself is more of a matte finish to it. I'm looking to find the most realistic carbon vinyl
