    Zoop Seal and lug nuts

I was at the gas station this past weekend and had someone drive up with hi-polished aluminum wheels. He told me about a product called Zoop Seal for "sealing" the aluminum. This will stop oxidation and (supposedly) eliminate the need for polishing for a couple years. I will prolly pick a kit up if I end up with hi-polished aluminum wheels.

    Anyone ever use it? Thoughts/comments?

Also, where is a good place to buy some lugs and locking lugs for the Magnum? I am pretty close to buying these Centerline wheels and they don't come with lugs, though on their website, they say that a generic 60 degree acorn lug will work. Can someone point me to a place that supplies the correct lugs for an 05 RWD Magnum? Thanks.

The R/T wheels are sealed with a clear coating that should last for years or longer depending on what you subject your wheels to. Normally the brake pad dust will eat through the coating if you do not keep them clean. However the R/T has ceramic pads that seemingly do not give off the same dust. If you want to polish the aluminum to a higher gloss then you need to first remove that protective coating. Once polished it would be great to find something to keep them that way. On my bikes I could never find a product that would work consistently, sometimes leaving fish-eyes after applying.

Thanks for the product info, I for one will look further into it.

Try Stockton Wheel http://www.stocktonwheel.com/lugs.htm they are the supplier for the local Mr. Tire in my neighborhood. I have a set of the Acorn style locking nuts. I like them because they look very similar to other lug nuts and they don't have the hard to work with pattern imprinted on the visible with those funny keys that get rounded off and are hard to work with when you are pissed because you have a flat...
