About LinkBacksSo last night I felt like going for a little drive in my RT. As I was backing out of the driveway, I checked my average mpg which was 11.9. I have about 500 miles on the car and I hope that increases as the engine gets broken in. I found a deserted stretch of four lane black top and did some repeated WOT runs. Nothing puts a smile on my face faster than nailing the gas pedal to the carpet anymore. When I get back home I compulsively check the average mpg again and it said 12.4! I guess I need to drive faster more often.

the 11.9 was partially because of the idling in the driveway... any driving will bring it up.
