the wiper rubbing the rk sport hood thang

Well, I notched my wiper today so it wouldn't rub but it still does... just not as bad and it rubs on the underside of the hood now, not the lip of the cal.
I removed as much metal FROM the wiper arm as I can with it still being functinal. My only choices now are to let it wear a groove in the underside of the hood itslef or to remove it and just use one wiper. I'm goin with option A.
Those of you getting the hood may opt to remove the wiper on the passenger side.

Are you going to let the manufacturer know about this problem? Also did the nozzle spray on the hood? Maybe tell them that also.

Having sat throguht the Volant CAI development, I can tell you that the manufacturers appreciate any improvement feedback!

yes, it could be cut back but it wouldn't do the hood justice. I find it much less evil to cut on the wiper, which is tucked waaaay under this hood. Ya just won't see this.
I just need to give it another hour or two of love.
    It'll turn out all good.
While raising the back of the scoop via the mold woulf LIMIT visibility a bit, I think it would look fantastic and this would totally fix the problem.
I dunno how easy that is to do on rk sports' side.

I'll post pics of my badly hacked wiper, where it rubs and then some pics of it all perty when I tidy everything up.
Dunno quite how I'm gonna do that yet but I seldom do until I do it.
    I'll keep ya posted...

Grinner did the body shop test fit the hood first before paint ? Maybe some mod could have been done first ? Just wondering cause I ordered one too..

they had to make it fit the edges ya know?
An inch worth of washers on the back may have made it clear but it sure have looked stupid stickin up an inch on the corners.
The cawl just needs to be an inch higher.
