Wanted 2 buy a SRT8 is this FISHY?

I ran into someone on car domain that was selling 1 so can someone check this out and tel me what you think?
    http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2495204

Than after contacting the person via email i sent this to them.........

I wanted to know was the price of the car $8,250.00 (Eight Thousand Two Hundred Fifty) or is that a misprint?

And after this was the reply..................

Hello I am glad to see how many people are interested in buying my car. The car is in immaculate condition and has no scratches on and hasn't been involved in any accident. The motor runs very well. The tires are almost new. The car is very fast and extremely furious. You must know that now I am located in United Kingdom. I got married and moved here two months ago. The final price is $8250.The price includes all shipping , handling and insurance charges. Shipping will be done via Lufthansa Air Cargo from United Kingdom it is INSURED and it will take no more then 5 days. I have a friend at Lufthansa who will manage me a low price shipping and I assumed that it is from me to pay for shipping it. When I will ship it, I will declare it as a gift so that you will pay no customs when you will receive it and for this it will be delivered directly to your address. I don't want to get rich by its selling, just want to give it to someone who will take good care. Because of my job I am traveling a lot and I can not stay home and expect to meet potential client. I'll also cover the fees for the ship and insurance to your home address. About the price...I am selling it at this price because it is difficult and expensive to transfer registrations from US to United Kingdom and I have huge financial problems, and I can`t afford the car anymore. From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request ONLY secure pay. I prefer the payment to be hold by a third party like Alert Pay and only after you receive and test the car the payment has to be released to me. After you will receive the car you have 15 days to decide if you will buy it or no.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Do you guys smell a rat or is this a good buy?

I don't know anything about Alert Pay, but if he's willing to use a reputable escrow service that you're comfortable with, then you might have a great deal. But in all honesty it sounds WAY too good to be true.

I would be willing to bet it would cost somewhere around $3k just to ship it from the UK into the US, so what's he really getting out of this? Nevermind the lost monies in the cost of the vehicle.

I don't think I would entertain this offer.

I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole.

The Magnum has a soul. It has a personality, something all too lacking in the automotive transportation appliances everybody else is offering.

Please don't send them any money!!! SCAM! BTW a SRT8 in Europe would be a scarce, very sought after car. It would be worth a premium to the right European customer, even the 300 Tourings are pricey.

    Either RUN AWAY fast...

Or have some fun with the jacka$$ and let him know you have a trip in the next two weeks and will pick the car up in person. If you want to go further ask him for a local bank name that he does business with as you want to finish the transaction at the bank when you get there.

That is a total scam..if you were to go through with it, they would send you a link to a spoofed 'secure pay' site that would look like a legit payment site or whatever, where you would enter your CC info and then they would be off to the races.

Some things are too good to be true. This is one of them.

Talk to Sosa, he's trying to trade his SRT for RT or SXT.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?
