    Tranny leak @ 2,600 miles

I noticed the reddish puddle on the garage floor yesterday. Does this problem usually occur with so few miles?

Mine waited a bit longer, there is a common issue with o-ring leakage on many of these cars. If it is the o-rings then the dealership should be able to make the repair very quickly.

Just did mine today (15,000 mi.) Dealer handled it with no problem while I was there for an oil change.

Mine leaked from the front pump seal since new. It was't leaking real bad so I waited to get it repaired at 5,000 miles. It has been fine so far....

Mine did it at 100,000. I do believe that the new Mopar o-rings are the answer, they are fatter at least.

I noticed seepage around the tranny connector on my '05 R/T during my first oil change so I took it to the dealer with TSB in hand...

No sign of any seepage on my '06 SRT after almost 10K...

I'm trying to make an appointment to have the dealer look at it. Since yesterday I have not been able to speak to a service adviser. Left 3 voice mails and no call back as of now.

When I finally do get in touch with them I'm going to ask to look at the AC, too. There's a uriney smell coming out of the vents when the car is first started.

I got the o-ring replaced last week. Went and got replacement from Mercedes and told Dodge to put it in there. No problems, they were even surprised I knew about this. Thanks again LXers.
