    TPM System

    I've changed wheels and now I'm looking for a way to "defeat" the tire pressure reading system. The sensor is in the valve stem. 22" rims look really good, but get a little tired of the bell ring every 15 minutes. The light and warning go out with a push of the button, but I would like to eliminate it.

    Any ideas?

    I wonder if it is something that can be turned on/off in starscan at the dealer like the foglights and DRL's?

    If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

    Might be hard to do as feds mandate sensors in all 06 cars and 07 trucks. Dealer may not want to shut this off.

    Why don't you get a new set of the sensors or move them to the new wheels? The dealer may ba such a pain in your ass that that's your only options.
