    Torque Converter issues whining/RPM drop

    Vehicle Details:

    2006 Dodge Magnum
    53k miles
    Oil changed every 3K
    Plugs changed at 35k
PS steering pump replaced at 30k (though it was the whine)

For the last couple weeks my car has been acting like it wants to die occasionally when I come to a stop at a light. I also have noticed what feels like occasional driveline slack when taking off from a stop. I also have a loudish whine that is increased when I use Autostick to let the RPMs go above normal Diablo tune normal driving shift points. I got the car at 30k miles and it was still in warranty, had them replace the PS pump to remedy the whine, didn't do it. I am leaning towards the torque converter possibly going south. Any suggestion/comments/ideas?

Yes it does, that's why I am pointing at the torque converter. I kinda hope it is the torque converter because you know you have to replace the cam when you put in a new torque converter

The cam thing was more of an upgrade opportunity, replace the TC with a higher stall and then do a cam. Thanks for the advice!
