Those running Borla 140125 only, please.

Just wanted some feedback for those that have purchased and installed the Borla 140125. I am finally ready to pull the trigger and wanted some final feedback before placing my order.

So would like your opinion good and bad on this system only.
What do you love about it, would you change if anything, etc.....

Gee thanks, I have done many searches, thus my decision to go with this system, just want CURRENT feedback on those that have now had this for a while.

The system cannot even be remotely described as subtle. It is loud and sometimes obnoxious, but I think that the regular driving volume can accurately be described as about the same noise level as an airplane. I haven't had any annoying drone. The only issue I have is an occasional rattle which I really think is the exhaust tapping on part of the car near the right rear. The fitment is very close here. I am trying to make a poor man's spacer solution for this, but that would be my only complaint. I love the sound and it is great at WOT. No regrets for me at approximately 33k miles.

Have you noticed any change in their tone or volume? Some systems used to burn in and really get sounding better (in some cases) after some time in use.

Ive had mine for about 1year,installed myself,very easy.I had the same rattle problem off and on but after adjusting about 20 times it seems to have been fixed(knock on wood).I realy dont think it is too noisey, of course i also ride a harley with straight pipes.It also doesent compare in noise to my 68 gto with headers and cherry bombs i use to have.The sound improved with age i also beleive.And also with the addition of the superchips it seems to sound a little meaner.

Also another good thing is you can easily tell when mds is on or off.

Loud is not at all an adjective I'd use to describe my Borla 140125 system. In fact, I'd say it is rather quiet compared to other systems I have had on other cars over the years.

I will say that the sound is AWESOME!! It has this wild, race-car sound that everybody just loves!! And those big stainless steel exhaust tips look so good with wide tires and wheels.

Yeah, I would recommend it. Just be sure to get enough clearance across the cross-member when installing this exhaust system. It will clunk on big bumps, if down too low. (Of course, this is a common complaint of all the aftermarket exhaust systems.)

Also, yes, I have noticed that the sound is a bit mellower now after "burn-in" and it still sounds great.

Remember, too, with the 140125 you'll save 40 lbs. in weight over the stock exhaust system, which is significant.

I love the sound. I think it is nice and throaty without being offensive. I have heard some exhausts which just sound loud and bad (in a negative way) to me. I really haven't noticed any change in sound over the time I have had it.

i love mine as well! there is a drone type of noise on the highway once mds kicks in...this can be eliminated by either running in 4th or cranking up the tunes! When ever you wooomp wooomp it around town everyone always looks in disbelief when the see the wagon roll by. No regrets here but it is loud!

Got them on my Magnum. Very loud, 75-80 is where most the drone is, but its not annoying with some music playing, and its only when MDS is on (or under light load when pulling a hill).

Ive had problems talking to people while the engine is turning 2000-2500 RPM's, but only under a medium load (like taking off from a light, shifting at 3k) but no problems.

I have a vid/sound clip of it on start up, and rev. Let me know if you want it (PM me your e-mail addy).

EDIT: Dynatech headers really made the sound awesome, and also cause some of the drone in the 2000-2500 RPM range. i believe that there was no drone when i just had the exhaust on (or not as bad).

awwwww man!!!!!!!! its got a sick sound!!!! BWAAAAAT!!!!!!!!! very deep growl like noise.....intimidates everyone......and scares them at the same time LOL
and when i added my headers, OMG!!!!! i cant wait to add my superchips tuner

I have one loud ass magnum around here......................though i havent been able to piss anyone off with it for a while since its been in the shop......

I added the dynatech header system with my borla...........all i can say is wow......i still get excited everytime i rev it at the lights.....LOL
