    That's not just not right...

Some may remember that I’ve said that the wife would be taking delivery on her Magnum R/T around the 1st of December.

Well, that can be pushed back about another 11 days. Edit here for date....now it's most likely will be the week of the 18th! As the law office that the wife has, has a policy of keeping the check for 14 days to be sure it clears the bank that the insurance company has. It seems times past, there was a settlement, and the check bounce to Saturn and beyond.

Since the other side blink and said they would agree to the wife’s terms for a settlement suit. There has been one facility that has been setting on their fingers and not signing the settlement release papers so the insurance check can be cut to the different facilities that provided care for her during the 2 ½ years.

I had to physically go to one facility yesterday to demand the papers be signed, then afterwards had to take that release to “their” attorney so they can have a copy, then drive about another hour to the wife’s attorney to drop off that last signed release.

Now that it’s coming up on the holiday of Thanksgiving, her attorney’s office will be closed until Monday with a probably early closing today….then there is the office of the insurance company. The question is will anyone be around to release the funds (check) to be sent to the wife’s attorney for distribution before the day is up.

    I say, highly unlikely.

Too pour salt into the wound, during my travels what due my wondering eyes see. One Red Magnum R/T between the one facility hold out and their attorney’s office. Then on the drive, home, I get passed by a Silver Magnum.

I think if we drive through the Dodge dealership here one more time, they are going to start charging us entrance and exit fees….we’ve got to get that Magnum in our driveway!

It's sad that in addition to the hassle you've already had to go through, now you can't even get cooperation in what you're entitled to. Best of luck to you... you know it'll be worth the wait!!
