Depends on what you want and what you have. Right now I have Superchips on my car and have an expensive paper weight , read Diablo, because I am affraid of what I might program in. Seriously , if you are heavily modded go with Diablo if not Superchips. The biggest thing these will do is help your transmition shift tons better.Superchips is a good bacis programmer. The Diablo is way more advanced.

That's my take on it - the Diablo will allow you to hurt yourself if improperly used, at least on a modified motor, haven't heard of any issues with a stock internals motor yet. If you do not need all the bells-n-whistles, then go for a Flashpaq.

The SuperChips Flashpaq is a decent deal, get one from someone who jumped on the Diablo bandwagon and expect a decent price. Most appear to be selling them in the $200-250 range which is a far cry from retail.

My motor internals are stock and will remain that way for the foreseeable future, and I'm keeping my Flashpaq.

For what you can buy a Superchip now on the forum. Buy one if you're not heavely modded. Then you can sell it and more than likely get what you paid for it and move up if you do heads, cam and Long tube headers.

That's what I did, I bought the SC from someone here because I don't have or plan on big mods besides exhaust and an intake.

I paid less than half of retail shipped.

Same here, for right now the sc is great! But as the Maggie fund grows, and the HP goes up then I will go to the Diablo.

Once you have the Diablo, you won't go back to the Superchips.

I am sticking with my SC for now....I have invested too much into her to have the Diablo mess things up. I know they will get the problems worked out but I am in that early build group with heads and cam so I need to be patient for all the bugs to get worked out. Later!

I've got a 04 build and the Superchips ver. 1.0 is pretty sweet. If and when I do more like heads and cam, will upgrade, but if you can find a version 1.0 for your 05 cheap, you could do worse.
