    Station Wagon?

Is it just me or does it really p!ss you off when somone refers to the Magnum a stationwagon? When I think of stationwagon I think of the truckster off of the Griswald family vacation...big, bulky, no style, no power and definitely not something you could "pick up" on someone with. Just my $.02...anyone elses thoughts!?

Doesn't bother me. If this car was park they would assume this is a normal "stationwagon" as well. Meet "Volvette"

It doesn't bother me at all. It just makes it sound worse when they get beat by a "station wagon."

I tell them "Yeah, it's a station wagon. But, I can get the groceries home before the ice cream melts."

Not all station wagons were the big "grocery getters". How about the Chevy Nomads? Or the Audi wagons to name a couple? Some of the Mopar ones from the 60's were cool looking too. Seems wagons are making a comeback with the classics crowd. So, no, don't bother me at all.

Back in the day there were a few Dodge Wagons - even a Ramchargers Wagon....

The most memorable for years though was the Dodge War Wagon which cleaned up in Stock Eliminator for a few years...

oh it's a station wagon, but the most badass station wagon known to man (at least in the recent years!)

Mal: "Well they tell you: never hit a man with a closed fist. But it is, on occasion, hilarious."

2006 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD, Black.

Current mods: Mopar CAI (came with the car, woohoo!), Diablo Predator CAI 93 Tune, Chrysler Ipod Integration Kit, Billet Tech Catch Can, and a bottle of Throttle Body Cleaner.

    Doesn't bother me.

And I'd love a Turbo Volvo wagon - maybe not 700 hp .... crap that thing is insane.

It IS a station wagon, what would you prefer they call it instead? Doesn't bother me at all. Heck, it'd be even better if someone made some woodgrain siding -- it'd be awesome to smoke Hondas then

Um... it IS a station wagon, why would that bother you? It's just much faster, better-looking, and more luxurious than its forefathers.

When I married my wife, I told her I wanted a hearse. She thot I was nuts until she saw an early sixties Caddy Hearse, and then understood the fascination. When the 300 first came out, she called it the "Mafia Car", and the Magnum she had dubbed the "Hearse".

Calling a Magnum a "Station Wagon" is cool with me, so is "Hearse". Either way we get places in comfort and style.
...what's good fuel mileage have to do with anything?

We have 11 cool cars, and one of them is a Magnum!!!

I think you're overly sensitive about it. I really like the idea of a station wagon that'll blow the doors off my dads vette while hauling 4 people and a assend load of stuff. If I didn't want a wagon I would have bought the charger or 300 but then I'd just be driving a sedan that could blow the doors off my dad vette carrying 4 people and few things in the trunk.
