On my way home a few minutes ago, I heard a loud pop like something hit my back window. I have my kids in the back, it was dark so I think someone may have thrown something, but I checked my car up and down and I see no marks or anything. I have to check it better in the morning, but I put it in the garage with the lights on and nothing. I will be pissed if I see something in the morning. But I know it was one of the back windows, could have been a small rock, If someone would have hurt one of my kids, I would kill them. so many Haters out there.

That's a vulnerable feeling -- who are these jerks throwing rocks?! (random acts of violent stupidity) -- one of the perks of a free society.

I hope all is OK -- keep us posted! (Hope it's one of the quirky car noises others are describing, not a rock)

My cargo cover has done that to me twice!! It just rolls up for no reason with a loud pop. Scares the snot out me. Do you have the cargo cover?

yeah, i get a pop out of the back once in a great while, not sure from where though.

I had a similar experience, some drunk chick threw a rock and hit me just on the r rear wheel arch. It was too dark for me to see it at the time, but in the morning it was pretty obvious. I should of smacked her down at the time anyway....grrrr

I just picked up my 2005 magnum R/T from the dealer , I was hearing a loud popping sound at the windshield ( sounded like a rock hit it ) this ocourred on many occassions . Turns out there was a Tech Service Bulletin about it. The dealer repaired what they called the padding in the dash . Could that be the sound you heard ?? It really sounds like a rock hit the glass , but in my case it sounded like the front windshield/.

I've been hearing something like that too. It's not all that loud, it's more like a tick like when you tap the autostick left or right very hard, and it comes from the dash area. I thought it was the car keys tapping on something. Was what everyone else has been hearing very loud?
