Anyone using these bulbs and how are they working out for you?
What are the bulb model numbers I would need to get to replace my High and Low beams?
Silverstars are over-hyped junk that Sylvania markets to the "blue light" crowd using the name of the European Osram which is a newer technology bulb not sold here. The best thing you can use are HIR lamps, which are hard to find.

Silverstars are utter crap read this SILVERSTAR vs. SILVERSTAR ULTRAS???
Mine all went out in the same month 5 months after i put them in.
HIR's sound great, but, you are modifying them fit, and not "widely" available
I have the ultra's and they're fine, over a year on them without a problem. As to if they are any better, eh. hard to say.
You need 9005 high beam and 9006 low beam bulbs.
I have seen some people use GE nighthawk bulbs as well, though they are a bit more difficult to find in some areas. The EU silverstars don't have the blue coating on the bulb.
There is a lot of debate on headlight bulbs, but in general, without going to a true HID projector setup with HID-designed housings, your not going to get much performance advantage by changing bulbs.

I ried the Silverstar Ultras a few months back. I really didn't notice much of an improvement in night driving. By a strange accident, I got the true picture. A few days after I switched to the Ultras, I noticed intermittent smoke from my right front fender. During the investigation I learned that one of the Ultras had slipped out of the headlight housing and was touching adjacent metal. The smoke was evidence that the Ultra fried itself. I replaced it with the stock bulb that night in the garage. When I turned the headlights on in the garage I could see the Ultra in one housing and the stock bulb in the other housing. Guess what? Other than having bit more of a blueish tint, the ultra did not appear to be any brighter than the stock bulb. In fact, the stock bulb appeared to light the area better. $50 bucks wasted in my opinion.
People confuse blue with bright... the eye perceives different hues in funny ways. HIR is the best bang for the buck unless you're willing to go projector w/ HID's (please don't do HID's without projectors, you'll make me want to brakecheck you if you get behind me and shine your sloppy blue mess right into my rearview).

I'd have to back the HIR's as well. Bipto put them on his MSRT a few weeks ago and I could notice a BIG difference driving behind him.
