So....I'm a I-5 west coast guy (job travel stuff). I usually do Sacramento to LA or Sacramento to Portland at night in the triple didgits where I can. Here's what's weird. When I'm at speed I really don't feel very "locked down" or safe with the factory seat belts. I was wondering if anyone had installed something more..dare I say....NASCAR? or a shoulder harness? Info appreciated.
i think you would have to do a big conversion to race seats with a 5 or 3 point harness if thats what you want...
... i know where this thread will go with all the "moms" on here haha(jk)
but if you dont feel safe dont drive so fast! They do a lot of testing on these safety belts so you should be in relatively safe hands!?

Find out what the belts are designed for.

I agree. As we know a accicent can happen at anytime whether driving slow or fast but driving at an excessive speed just increases the risk. As for the belts, I think they are the safest. Just read the attached link.
NHTSA: Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum best passenger cars tested. Subaru Outback safest overall.
