    running 3.61

    hey i check my info and i am running 3.61 is that the best i can get from the dealer or should i ask to get better i unhooked my battery and my mpg seems to be worse now i was getting better than that before or do you think it might come back after a little more driving ,, i think i need to do the gas pedal recal too ???

    3.61 Is the latest for 2005 cars but this is only the C.C.N. there are many others for the T.C.M., P.C.M. etc, best to check with fnkychkyn.

    last i checked, 3.61 was the latest and greatest CCN version available from your dealer. as far as MPG, are you checking EVIC or have you verified actual fuel used/distance traveled? although MDS should recalibrate on it's own, some members, not wanting to wait for it, have performed a MDS recalibration procedure. details in this thread. MDS - after battery disconnect -UPDATE . you need a starscan to verify throttle calibration.

    ok i got it thanks what do you think is it nesserary or what ??? and what about the gas padel re cal too

    i've never HAD to perform this prucedure. nobody ever complained of poor mileage. according to DCX, it is not necessary. that's why they removed it from the TSB. however, some forum members swear that it made a big difference. can't hurt to try.
    as for the ECT recalibration, i don't know of any DCX procedure for this.

    i did the mds thing couldn't tell a differance maybe i need to get on interstate for a while for a good reset or maybe the dealer ???
