    Remove Dealer Logo?

A month ago I picked up my '06 Magnum RT AWD in Metallic Black....lovin it but cant stand the bright blue dealer logo on the hatch. Any suggestions on removing it without damaging the paint.

Goo Be Gone and put that on the logo and see if you can rub the logo out so you can take it out.
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!

-Hair dryer and/or a nice hot day to loosen up the glue
-fishing line behind the badge, and slowly work the badge off
-Goo Gone to get rid of the leftover glue and BAM!... your done!

Do the rest of them while you're back there!

Goo Be Gone works great. The dealership has professional chemicals for it too, but not always willing to do it. I took mine off right away. It just didn't feel right to pay them all that money and also advertise for them.

For sure get rid of it..And the ideas mentioned above will work just fine..My car came from another dealer in a "dealer trade"...I had told my sales person to NOT badge my car...Damn if they had already taken the old dealer logo off, and was just about to slap their's on my car when I happen to look out the window....LOL...I starting banging on the window shaking my head...He got the message!

Personally, I'd be taking it back to the dealer and having them remove it (no damage that way...plus THEY can buff it) Since I doubt you asked to have it installed OR are being paid a monthly advertising fee, I'd tell them that you want it removed They cant refuse you.

As soon as I saw it on, I refused delivery until they took it off.

I heard once that Dealerships didn't do this in Cali. Is that not true?

I read the first post and thought to myself, "I didn't start this post, I know how to take the advertising off".

Love the avatar man, hope you get the evilness off quickly and without harm.

The last vehicle I bought I forgot to check to see how they put one on until after I'd struck the deal. I apologized to the salesman and told him that if it had one of those things stuck to the paint that it was a deal killer and I'd walk. Fortunately, all they did was give you a license plate frame.

My Magnum came with vinyl lettering which was easy to remove and was gone before the engine had cooled in my driveway when I got it home. If they used those plastic logo deals though, I'd have told them to remove it themselves or give me $500 to advertise their dealership. Gawd I hate those things.

I don't have Footlocker stamped across my shoes or Macy's on the back of my shirt and I sure don't want the dealer's graffiti on my car.
