Red made me get the Volant intake

Called Volant This morning, and had the Volant intake installed this afternoon.
Thanks, Red, I really like it, it's clean, draws aor FROM both through the grill and also a scoop FROM the bottom. The DC silencer thing FROM outer space as removed entirely.
Sounds as good as the exposed cone filter FROM the CGS intake I had, and is a very nice instalation!
The old silencer had a good amount of water in it when I got it home, down in the big baffle chambers. There is no way for this water to exit, so I bet it would start a stinking before too long!
Can't wait for Gibson Performance to come through with my exhaust!
A photo is attached I think a first for me!
    Later, :D

Cool, any chance you can post some larger pics and with some varied angles?

this is looking really good. I'd like to see some closeup photos, a installation how-to, and a cost. I may REPLACE my K&N Typhoon for this.

I took some more photos of the Volant installed, and huge wierd crustacion of a silencer that was totally removed. I should have posted when I could put all this together, my daughter is consuming all of my computer time.
i'll get to work where I have some peace and do it there. Driving is same or maybe better than the CGS that I removed, and both are way better than stock.
i told the guys at Volant that the Forum Members are drooling for this. C'mon, Hammerfoot, I just said droolin!!!

Well, here at work I can post some photos in peace. I noticed a possible MPG increase this morning with the Volant Intake. I hit some heavy traffic, some 80+ cruising, a WOT run on and iterchange, a wait at the drive through idling, and averaged 24.5 MPG on the EVIC I'm reall hapy with the Volant so far, I will try and do some Gtech runs soon.
As requested, a few better photos should be attached.
Can't get images small enough, ARRR!

The distributer is www.incamotorsports.com Look under Volant/cars.
They have the system on special for $310.00
They tell me they will be in production next week, a bit prcey, but good design and quality. The install is a bit involved, as you need to remove the bottom panel, permanantly remove the factory silencer box, etc. They took a little over an hour to install mine, as they did not yet have the brackets for Magnums with an after market bottom billet grille installed.
So far, I like it. I will post later next week after putting more miles INTO the MPG average.

    RTFM?? Huh??? Hammerfoot strikes again!!!
I did not withness the install due to insurance reasons, a customer tripped on something on their shop recently. My Volant was installed at the Volant factory in Rancho Cucamonga, A nice kid with mutton chop sideburns and a few piercings dii the install.
I bet if you go on the website, call the #, EXPLAIN you want an install with the unit, they would do it. Talk to Max Quezada, nice guy! Mine was $310 install included. They probably took some additional digital photos for the instructions.
I'd say it is about a 6 pack project, pace yourself and don't drink the 6 pack just reading the instructions.
    Good luck!
