I mean, does it have all the signals going there just no EVIC cluster? TIA!
Nope,
Well you could but it will take a crap load of money to do a retro fit.
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!
That's what I thought... So Dodge hasn't changed in that department... My Audi has almost everything already there for upgrades you may want to do... Pre-wired for everything... Just have to install it...
It's doable, you need the cluster, the wiring for the steering wheel, the steering wheel switches, the correct overhead console that has the EVIC module attched to it, and the correct wiring harness that runs up the R. A-pillar. (Non EVIC cars have a stripped version of the A-pillar wiring, which doesn't have the connectors for the EVIC module.) You would also need your cluster reprogrammed to the correct mileage, and the front section of the roof needs to be de-guased. (De-magnetized.) Very expensive to do.

I've searched up and down on the forum for the answer to this question.. EVIC installation. Is there any definite answers ? Tbird listed all the parts needed to do it, in a couple of threads, but is did anyone actually try it and have it work ?
Not worth the money or trouble to put it in.

Well it is to me! Especially with used parts off Ebay!
hmm there was a guy on 300cforums last year, username was lukeinva..
he got Meisters old 300C with Evic cluster and plugged it into his non-evic base model and everything worked as I recall.
trying to find the thread, by the search feature on 300cforums is not working at the moment..

Wouldn't you also have to change the steering wheel to get the buttons???

It sounds like a lot of work to me.
Slight thread jack, was the SXT Mag standard with EVIC? Or was it an SXT option?

It's an option in all Magnums. Part of one of the Convenience groups. My R/T doesn't have it, nor did my SXT.
If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?
