this day ruled, we got to BEAT THE HELL out of mini's w/ different speed rating Kumho's so we could see the difference. was so fun, we got to get some good speed into the corners.

here's me in the black kumho car w/ the 15" wheels on it, for some reason - I made the best times on the car w/ the ****tiest tires. go figure.

best day ever. I got paid to kick the crap out of 3 diffrent cars, and compare times on each car. For some reason, I made the best time in the car w/ the 15" tires - go figure. They had a car with 15's, 16's & 17's. All lowered, all air intakes, all w/ cat back exhausts. one of the funnest things i've been too

I'd been sick for 2 days, and has so much cold & flu medicine in me, I had the worst case of medacine head. I'll never make an excuse for a defete, i got beat. It was only 3 tenths of a second, But I got beat! My brother is a nasty driver. we TOASTED everyone there. Each time he'd seat a record i'd beat it & so on. The class before ours, we beat each lap by over 3 seconds (on a small track, thats ALOT). I'll man up & say he beat me, but I wasn't @ my best. For some reason I could make the car w/ the 15" tires go faster than people in the car lowered lower in the car w/ the Z rated 17" tires. just felt good to me!

oh we had a blast!!!!! we got paid to race cars! The guy from KUMHO was FAST!!!!!! He had us by a solid 1/2 a second that we couldn't touch, he took me for a ride, he was a SICK driver! When I was braking in the same corners, he had it to the floor jackin' the wheel! I concider myself a good driver, he was CRAZY! Best ride around a track i've ever had.

Turns out when you spend $40,000 last year in tires they invite you to something neat! I took full advantage to it!

The Minis are fun as *#$^% to drive! My mom's gotta '05 Cooper S. That thing is a freakin BLAST! It's like a go-cart. It can sure take a beating.

I would love to autocross that thing.

Just because a car has 15" tires does not mean it is not going to handle well.

I know cars with 12" and 13" tires that handle like God's own car.

its funny, that wasn't kumho's point. they wanted to show the lower the profile,t he higher the speed rating, the better the handling. The black car I was in, had the 15 " tires - the car just felt so good to me, i could push it HARD into the corners, would come right out with little or no roll and hammer into the next one. Between the 16" & 15" cars, we smoked the 17" Z rated car for some reason. weather, conditions. Dunno. but we got to drive em all. The 15" car felt best to me, I had the fastest times in that car.

That would be my dream job. Just beat the hell out of cars to see what they can do.

I think it would have to be someone else's car for me to beat it around a course like that. I really need to drive my car aggressively sometime....
