    Oxidation on chrome molding strip

Does anyone know how I can get the oxidation off the chrome molding strips under the HEMI badge and on the doors? Thanks.

I have a feeling those are molded plastic chrome pieces and there is not much you can do for them.

Yeah, I have a feeling you're right...well it's nothing I can't live with, you really only notice it when your eyeball is like right on the car. Oh well.

You got to remember that we all see something as small as a nats crap on our cars and it drives us crazy. Other people never will see it. Maybe the best way is to either remover the molding or use some chrome vinyl tape over it.

No I like the molding, I thought about removing it but it adds balance to the car, maybe using a clay bar will remove it?

I have the same problem with mine, and it started a few years ago. It only 1 at this point, my front pass door. It doesnt bother me too much anymore cuz i know there isnt much i can do sbout it. The funny thing is I was at a car show this past weekend and the judges said my car was beautiful except for that 1 molding. Luckily they loved the car enough to overlook it and not take away any points for that. So i got a trophy. Everyone tells me to take the moldings off but i really love the look with them on. Pretty sure a clay bar will do nothing for it. I detail for a living and I have tried almost everything with no luck, so you just may have to live with it.
