Ordered The RK Sport Hood, But will the SRT8 Front Facia Fit

I ordered the RK Sport hood today. Wes was very cool at RK Sport. I had no idea they are about 10 min. FROM my house. Anyway, He said the hood should be the best fitting aftermarket hood on the market. We will see. He assured me the wiper problem was fixed. He said the passanger wiper will not hit the hood as they have raised the cowling. Also, he let me ORDER it with out the wiper spray holes. I never use them anyway, especially in Cali. I hate when peole turn them friggin things on in front of me after I just got my BLACK mag detailed. I think it will look much sleeker without the spouts on top the hood.

Now since I need to ORDER a front end facia, does anyone know if the srt8 will fit directly onto a non-srt8 mag? I like being different and why not put on a srt8 front end if they are interchangeable. I need to find a dealership that has a kick ass smart body guy that will know these things. Or maybe a member that knowes. Please do tell.

while I don't know 100% certain i'm 99.9% sure that the SRT-8 front end will fit on fine, I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.

that's good to hear they have the wiper problem fixed too, been thinking about getting that hood eventualy till I had heard about the wiper issue, still want to find out of the washer spray will hit the cowling though as I have to use them a lot here in the winter with all the wet salt and sand being spit up by other cars, especialy on the highway.

I think the same, I look at the front end and can't see any difference. Can't imagine they would make changes to the body fenders and such. Would be way to expensive. They probably just made a different front facia. I just hate being the tester.

The only thing that comes to my mind is the brake vents by the fog lights... that probably has a line run INTO the fenders so they might have done something special for that. Otherwise I bet it bolts right on.

Cool, I'm holding out for dual scoops, but that hood looks nice.

But, as far as them being the best fitting aftermarket hood on the market - aren't they currently the only aftermarket hood?

Have the hood. They actually hand delivered it to me for free! Anyway it looks good in the box. There are no wiper squirter holes, yeah! Anyway car goes in on the 28th for the body work. I just cant find the srt-8 front facia anywhere.

The SRT-8 front fascia is not avalable yet. I work for a dodge Dealership in Portland Oregon and drive a Magnum. Normaly when a car comes out , it takes maybe 2-3 weeks to be able to get any parts for it. DCX puts a hold on any parts for a brand new car so they can get the cars built, and they wont have any "suprises" if a dealer orders all the fascias out FROM under them. I have an eye on the 300c srt-8 spoiler and fascia for a customer right now.

I was looking at someone's profile earlier today (I don't recall who) that mentioned an AAR hood. The website was promising, pricewise. Good looking products as well, but no mention about any future Magnum products.

Yo, DJ, Let me know when you get that hood, I'll come by and CHECK it out. Insurance must have totaled the OEM hood after that balled up tire, looked pretty bad (he, he)
I hope your body guys can match that black, necest I have ever seen. I would have considered that color if I knew how much pretty stuff is really on the paint.
You otta post photos of that new RED Mopar truck you bought too, looks really nice.
