OOPS I Did It Again!
December 31st 2006, I was shopping for a commuter vehicle, and somehow ended up with a new 06 R/T. I got a great year end discount, and spent that and more in mods over the last year.
Including the cost of the mods, I figure about 15K depreciation in a year.
I also put 14,000 miles on the car, which is much more than I wanted to.
!2/31/2007, I did a radiator cap mod.
A brand new Toyota Crawler, ah-Crawoller, ah-Corona, or something like that.
Other than wheels and tires, I can't even find any mod parts for it. (wonder why?)
Oh yeah, I found one. I swapped the horns between the two cars. It now scares the Honda's, and when I pull up next to them in the Mag and give them a friendly "tweet" of the horn, they think they're faster.
I guess it will give my Maggie a break from the daily commute, I can thow fast food wrappers on the passenger side floor and not feel guilty, It'sugly enough that I don't care about washing it weekly and waxing monthly.
There was an interesting conversation when I got it home:
Wife: "It won't be fun to drive".
Bewildered Me: "It's like bringing back my childhood and driving a go cart! And it's fun when I fill it up with 9 gallons of 87 octain!"
Wife: "It's Ugly".
Bewildered Me: "You got me there"!
