    No turn signals, wipers, or...

...windshield wash. And the ESP BAS indicator lamp is illuminated now. Is that a common malfunction?

It was a common problem on the LH vehicles (Intrepid, Concorde, Vision, New Yorker, LHS and 300M). Not sure if we use the same multifunction switch (wiper / turn signal stalk) as them or not though. I have a feeling ours is the same though because the LHs had the same problem with the 2nd intermittent wiper setting that many of us have on our LXs.

    Good luck

It should be a fuse. If I remember correctly...that happened to mine when it only have a few K miles on it. Never found a reason, the dealer replaced the fuse and all has been fine for a couple of years. The fuse is in the back under the floor cover by the spare tire. Just and FYI.

possible SCM (steering column module) connector fault. all steering column mounted switches and sensors go through this docking connector. replaced a few for similar concerns.

I put it in the dealer service shop. Might be a couple days wait on parts. I'll provide an update for future references.

fnkychkn was right. Dealer has a SCM ordered but it'll be a few days before it gets here. Oh well.

although these circuits go through the SCM, i found the docking connector to be the cause in all my cases. never had to replace the module itself. although it may seem fixed at first, the symptoms may return as the connector loosens up again. hope i'm wrong in your case.

The dealer ordered two different parts so perhaps both items you mention are to be replaced. It'll be Monday at the earliest before the repairs are made.
