    Nice transit time!!!

My RT left Brampton on 10/12. Just learned that it arrived at the local railroad yard on 10/15!!! How's that for transit time! That's the good news...

The bad news is that they are in no hurry to get her off the train (the dealer is less than 5 mins FROM railyard).

This has to be some sort of cruel and unusual punishment for all the times I've bugged both the dealer and DCX. The anticipation is KILLING me...

I bet you can almost smell the new car smell FROM there. Hope they get it to you soon. Congrats on the car.

I ran INTO the same problem. It only took about 60 hours to get FROM Toronto to Calgary, then it was supposed to sit at the rail yard / auto carrier yard for another eleven days. The owner of the dealership made a few phone calls and it was delivered within two days. Mountview Dodge in Lethbridge, Alberta ROCKS!!!

I was just wondering .... how would a judge treat you if you stole your own car off the train? Could it be considered "justifiable theft" or something like that? Or, I'm sure a defense of temporary insanity would work quite nicely.

Fortunately, I found my RT on a lot. It had yet to be cleaned up so no one ever drove it but my wife and I. My hat is off to those of you that ORDER your cars and then have the patience to wait for them. I'd be a valium junkie before I got mine if I had to wait.

I agree with w5blt - hats off to those that can wait for their order. I tried but couldn't.

How's that old saying go: An RT in the driveway is better than on the train in the railyard waiting FOREVER!

Or something like that. I hope you get yours yesterday!

My car wasn't supposed to get to my dealer until 10/25. But I made acouple of calls, and it got to my dealer on 10/18 at 1pm, and I took delivery at 3pm that day.

Mine left the plant a week before bobs05rt's and I still don't have it. We seem to live within 20 miles of each other. It's in limbo 8 days after coming off the train.

I think we have a conspiracy on our hands. I had a dream last night that the dealers are holding all Magnums (already on order) as long as possible because Chrysler is going to discontinue the bonus cash after October. Furthermore, DCX is going to split the $1000 evenly with the dealer if they don't deliver the cars until after Nov. 1.

    Say it ain't so!!!

Not sure when mine actually left the plant. I called DC one morning and was told it was waiting to be shipped out. Got a call the same day FROM the dealer saying it was there. Strange world.

    Pin n' needles!

My black RT shipped 10/15 and arrived in Westfield, TX (rail distribution point) yesterday at 1:30 pm. My dealer tells me it will probably be Wed. before I can get the car (assuming there aren't any problems). I'm hoping it arrives at the dealer Monday and I can be rock n' rollin' Tuesday... 8) Man! this is startin' to make me just a mite anxious...lol
