Does anyone know how to check the transmission fluid level on the NAG1 transmission in the 2008 Magnum with the 5.7 Hemi?
Thanks

With a Miller Tool at the dealer, Or a long zip tie marked off to so many mm. Sorry I don't remember the measurement offhand.

How to check your transmission fluid (NAG1)
Basically what you need is
1. the temperature chart
2. a long flexible dipstick
3. a way of reading your tranny temperature.
Temperature chart -

Get you a 36" zip tie(white or light color) and mark a line across it 70mm up from the bottom, Now drive the car around for at least 1/2hr. and being it's summer you should be at normal operating temp. Stick the tranny while the car is running in Park on level ground with the zip tie making sure it bottoms out, and the level should be within 3-4mm on either side of the 70mm mark and your good! Check it a couple times to be sure.

Just so you know, that chart above is for the 4-speed LX transmission, not the NAG1. The NAG1 graph is on here somewhere. Probably in the knowledge base somewhere.
