Magnum seat covers

Does anyone have these installed? I'm looking for an answer from someone who has a long term experience with these.

I know a few people here have them. I was looking at something along these lines but these are an install and leave deal and I want something to throw on the seats when I need to protect them, or drop off to the dealer.

I have a link on my home machine ( I am at my dads ) but what I found where a simple throw over seat cover.

they look very nice... but isnt the point of having leather seats to... um, have leather seats? - these totaly cover everything! - if your worried about getting some junk on the leather after rolling arround the shop floor you should just get a cheap throw cover. otherwise i dont really see the point.

Saw a guy pull the seat covers off his seats after they were on for a couple years and the leather underneath was dried out and cracked.

I think it is better to have them uncovered so they can be conditioned regularly.

I've seen this... I've also seen dye from the covers seep into the seats over time... not pretty.

the only thing i cover the leather with is a towel.. Mainly for the monstes in the back seat.... (car seats kill upholstery).. other then that if it is well conditioned towels work great.. I personally wont covr them for fear of drying out...

Well, I'm not lucky enough to have leather here..... Not that I want leather- such a pain.

I think these look good- but they are much more limited with only being able to have BLACK on the outsides of the seats. For $500 I think I should be able to choose the outside color as well as the middle....

Maybe I'lll just bite the bullet and get some SeatSkinz- even though I don't care much for the leather.

Yeah I have them and I love them. The best way to clean them is to go to a Dive shop and get the stuff you clean wetsuits with. I've done it once and its easy to use. As for the leather I just use Adams Leather conditioner twice a year when I take them off to clean them. GO for it you wont be disapointed.

what about marking up the leather? any signs?

-whats with the cup holders in your car? is that an SXT thing? or.... (mine have the cover...)

Definitely wanna get these. Did you have to buy individually for $235 each? By the way, which "package" type is it on the order page and how do you get the Magnum logo on it?

2005 models did not have a cover on the cupholders....

That's odd- I thought it was posted here that they came out in the 300's first then in Magnums in 06. I have an 05 SXT without them, and have seen several 05 Hemi's without them as well. So it isn't and SXT thing.
