I am looking for new tires for the Magnum in stock or near stock size. I only got 10,000 out of the stock ContCrappos in 225-60-18 size. After my initial research showed there is little to choose from so far. Any opinoins?

In the stock size you're pretty much S.O.L.
I replaced my rears at 9600 miles with 255/55/18's Toyo Proxes ST's and am very happy with them. Improved the ride drastically, almost like having a swaybar installed.
BFGoodrich has the KDWS and in the 245 size it's identical in diameter to the stock Conti's, although that's not really a huge issue, I had the dealership StarSCAN my new tiresize into the car so the speedo still reads accurately. (it was 1.47% off) Other guys on the forums seem to like theirs, although I saw some scary testimonials of poor tire wear when I was searching for a replacement.
The only thing I dislike about the Toyo's is that the sidewall design is a little too complicated, otherwise they're rated really well and are actually designed for SUV's so they're up to the task of handling our 4300lb cars in the corners.

I'll need them for spring but I'm gonna save up for 20's and get Good Year F1's.

RIP My Friend
The 255/55-18 size is used mostly on the mid-sized SUVs, so finding a non-truck pattern can be challenging.
If you want to stay with 18" wheels and a street pattern/quiet, the Michelin Energy is really good. I am delighted with them, though they do not look very aggressive at all. Depends on what look/wear/noise you are looking for.
The Lord bless and keep your coming and going!

Hey, not sure if your looking for an all season tire or not but if you are I highly recommend the Goodyear assurance comfort tread. They come in a size of 255/55/18. Nice smooth tire, good wear thus far with only 6000km on them, also great for highway crusin and especially good in the rain.
No truck pattern here, the SCCA racers run my BFG KDW tires when it is too wet for the slicks to work. I have the BFG 255/55/18 BFG KDW and the are unreal, and really a good deal, about $135 each!!
Want a flame tread pattern?? They got it!!

look in the conti blurb that came withthe car and call the 800 # and tell them the tires have worn out in 10k and demand (nicely) that they replace them. I upgraded to conti winter this way
