Magnum front emblem mod ?

Hi guys ive noticed some of the mags in hear have custom emblems and i

just contacted Glen "I think thats his name" about getting one done that

is black and then i want the logo in the middle to be clear. I dont know if

this is even possible yet but if it is i want to back light it with a couple

LEDS. Now my Question is in doing this i think i would need to cut or drill a

couple holes in the original cross bar grill behind the new emblem to house

the LEDS, and i was wondering if this would be a problem at all or if i

should leave it to profesionals to do the work for me? And feel free to tell

me what you guys would think about this mod, or if anyones done this

Sorry, Im not exactly sure how to go about doing it, but to me it does seem like a doable project.

Sounds like an interesting project. I don't know of anyone else doing this, <tarzan voice>innovation good</tarzan voice>

With all these custom emblems being put on, if you demonstrate this I bet Glen has many more people getting custom emblems with clear centers!

On thing i was thinking of doing was to get some plexi shaped in the outline and then engraving the backside with the rams head. It like how the guys with all the plexi do the car stereo logos. Should be pretty simple for a stereo shop to do.

That sounds bad ass what color were you thinkin about? maybe even have a frosted emblem.....that would help keep the LED lighting from being direct
I would look into gettin rgb LED's(Red,green,blue)....then you could scan through over 16.7 million colors

you would have to have a programmer that is made for that which is not hard...just do a search on rgb led controllers...you'll find it

i believe its from the UK but its worth it...if i find the site i'll post it
also i would make a box like control that holds the led's maybe even have bolts facing the radiator and use smalle nuts to hol on the box....along with that have the controller that will stream the color that you want

im actually in the makes of my own custom made LED setup....for outside and inside........
