IF(<- big if)I can keep my foot out of it, and I use EVIC to moniter throttle position to maximize MDS operation, I can get right @ 26 MPG on the interstate doing 70-75 MPH. Around town, about 15 MPG.

Have you thought about removing the lead weight from your right shoe?

I have no idea what I "could" get around town, as I've tried to drive easy on a tank just to see. So far, I haven't succeeded in doing that for a full tank! I do seem to average around 14-15 mpg for my daily driving (a mixture of city and some highway). On long trips, I've gotten 23 mpg if I can control the urge to step on it too often.

I've seen 26-27 mpg at 65 mph steady driving.
Seems after some flat out passing and city driving she averages out at about 19-20 mpg. 2005 RT RWD.

23mpg highway, about 17 city. I've got AWD and my only mod is a SuperChips, currently using the 87 octane tune due to gas prices and a thin wallet. :(

Bone stock '06 AWD R/T, with (heavy) 20" TSW Zandvoort wheels, getting 14 mpg combined, w/ about 85% city driving (lots of stop and go with the occasional stomp to impose my will on all these f*cking ricers). On a flat road on the highway and resetting the mileage counter I can get 21-22 mpg at 65 mph and below, +/- 1 mpg depending on weather.

So far, around 17-18 city and a best of 23-24 hwy. Neither my wife nor myself is easy on the loud pedal. Natch, I wish it was better but overall, after 18 months, I still love everything about the Magnum.

Average between 19.5 & 21 on 34 mile daily commute. 50/50 downtown stop and go and freeway with of sections of congestions (ie 20 minutes to cover 3 miles). These are calculated values which are usually with .3 of the EVIC.

Granted I only have about 6,000 miles on the car but I have NEVER gotten above 12.9 mpg around town on the EVIC. When we travel I can get about 22-23 on the interstate with the cruise set around 75.

I feel ya. This car (06 Mag RT) is my wifes daily driver with about the same type of driving you are talking about and she has anything but a lead foot and the best we have ever seen is 13mpg. We have about 25k on it. How can some people have nearly double our MPG? Now having said that we did not buy this car for it's fuel economy. If we wanted that we would have never got rid of the Honda Civic!! Still makes me wonder about the big variance in everyones MPG.

I get 10-12mpg driving around town (which is 99% of my driving). On road trips, the best I've ever seen is 22mpg.
