looking for factory black magnum headlights

if anyone of you guys has bought the Ebay headlights, and has a pair of the factory black headlights set back... i will gladly let you dump them on me, im so nice i might even think about paying for shipping! lol of course i would pay for shipping. thanks and if anyone is interested in getting rid of some just PM me.

btw, i know you want to know why i want some factory lights.
mine are oxidized, on the inside, and i cant fix that, and i dont really want the LED ones, cause personally they look too complicated. and expensive. so yeah, thats why.

Well you can get some black aftermarket OEM look-alike headlights off ebay. I purchased a set to install halos in. I don't recall who I got them from exactly and I ebay is blocked here at work, but when I get home tonight I could get you the link. I think I paid $268 for the pair shipped to me.

The quality appears to be very high. However I've not yet mounted them in my car so I can't say if there are any fit issues. However they look identical to my stock headlights other than my stock ones are silver. I'll try to remember to post up some pics and the link to who I bought them from when I get home from work tonight.

If you keep a watchful eye on eBay actual auctions (not those rip-off BIN prices) for OEM SXT/MSRT headlight housings do pop up. You are better off buying them separate, because most people are lazy and only want to buy a set (which drives the price up). I got my black headlights from two different auctions for a total of about $165 shipped. I think it took me about 3 weeks to get a set. The lenses will get sanded and clear coated once the whether gets better to eliminate some minor surface scratches, but that's only because I'm anal.

Yeah I did the halo install on them.

I must say that I don't ever want to do it again, but I may have to as when the epoxy that holds the rings in place dried, it cracked 3 of the 4 rings. So I have nothing to show for my effort now.

Needless to say I'm really ticked off. When physically putting one of the lights into the car, one halo completely broke up into pieces. The light did not get hit or jarred. I was exceptionally careful when pushing the ball fitting into the plastic socket and just used even constant force. However these fit much tighter than my stock lights. Needless to say even if I was able to get them completely installed in my car, I don't see how they could withstand the first pot hole or bump I may hit.

I have an idea on what I may use instead of the AAC halos. I need to find the materials and try it out.
