Karma is a B$%&#

WOW talk about Karma.

Only CV knows of this until now and he didn't even know the recent turn of events.

I broke up out of a 5 year relationship a few months ago. The Magnum was in her name for better % due to credit. At the onset of the breakup she says she wants me to pay the Magnum loan off if I want it. Mind you I put the down payment (a HEFTY one) and have made EVERY payment and paid for any and all service and parts for the car. Well, just before MFO 5, she says I can have the Magnum along with the payments...DUH I've been making all of them anyway.

We lived together for 3 or so months broken up. I moved out a few weeks ago and on the day I'm moving out she decides that she is going to keep the car. I am at the point where I really don't give a &%$# so I just casually with a smile say OK. I have spoken to a lawyer and there is nothing I can do to get the car.

OK HERE COMES THE KARMA

A few days ago I get an email from my ex asking me when I changed the oil last because the Check Engine light is on. I email her back and tell her it is not my car and she needs to handle it.

Well, I get a voice mail yesterday from the service writer (we'll call her Mary) at the dealership that has always handled the Magnum. I call Mary back and get her voice mail telling her that I no longer deal with my ex or the car and I'm sure that is why she is calling me.

I went to the dealership today to look at the Charger SRT8's so I go see Mary and she tells me that my ex was pissed because she has to pay for a new thermostat because it is not covered under the warranty and my ex feels it should be covered under warranty. Then Mary tells me that my ex called DCX to report her (Mary), trying to accuse her of plotting with me to make her have to pay for the thermostat. Mary told me that DCX said my ex was very rude and obnoxius to them and to make sure that they do not cut her a break on any issues with the Magnum!

WOW...so what goes around comes around.

Sorry to hear about your breakup and loss of your car. It does look like "what goes around, comes around".

Now can you go jack that sucker up and take those Coys off? I'll be in your part of California in March for the LX March Madness to pick them up.

Hey diamond, I remember you telling me something about this back at Mofo. Its hilarious that she obviously wanted the car to spite you, but doesn't have the common sense to get the car serviced. Plus, aren't thermostats cheap? Yeesh. LOL

Women! can't live with them, can't kill them, or, can you?
You should sue that Wh**e, you can prove to the judge you made the payments, it's your ride too, your name is on the loan papers too.

Wow... looks like some unresolved anger there joseph.

I guess I'm pretty lucky, most of my breakups have been under pretty decent conditions. Of all my old girlfriends, only 2 of them have decided to hate me.

I'm still good friends with most of the rest, and some others have just faded away with time. That said, 1 of those 2 was a girl I was very much in love with... and that was rough. But life moves on.

She tried to make off with my Playstation 2 and a bunch of other crap (yeah she was a gamer chick

) but I eventually got my stuff back. I dunno what I'd do if an ex made off with my Magnum. Probably break things.

Where did he say he is on the loan papers? That is a horse of a different color if that was the case. He would have a case. Otherwise, it just plain sucks the way these things work out.

Oh no my name isn't on the loan papers. (I was way to trusting) Actually the breakup wasn't bad but there are some people that cannot deal with a breakup unless it is bad and full of drama.

The good thing is I know in my heart that I treated her like a queen. Whats funny is she keeps emailing me just little jokes etc... and asking how I am and updating me on things despite the fact I've told her I don't want to have contact with her anylonger. Soooooooo, I think she is starting to see just how much I did for her and how well I treated her.

As far as the Magnum goes, I'm n the market for an SRT8 and it looks like my finances will be taking a positive turn in the next 30 days or so.

Oh yeah her new guy? He is someone she dated before she knew me and she told me she stopped seeing him because he was verbally and physically abusive to her (things I never did). Maybe thats the problem? LOL Oh well I have a saying and in my 45 year life so far have only met 2 exceptions to that saying. I say "women don't know how to act and appreciate a truly good man".

About those Coys, well they are in pretty bad shape. She has curbed them a couple of times and the chrome is discoloring. They aren't worth a nickle! LOL

I too jumped ou t of a loong term 'relationship'. Engaged and all....TRUST ME.... there are better women out there...those that know how valuable a "good man" is these days...

D! Man, what a turn eh? I know this road has been somewhat rocky, but it sounds to me like you're handling yourself quite well buddy. That's something to be proud of.

Sooooo a CSRT eh?? Any thoughts about playing it cool and saving them pennies for a few months to then jump on the Challenger? I'm evil aint I?
