    Just ordered my Magnum

    ... a steel blue '08 R/T with road/track performance package, popular option group, mygig nav system, and HID lights.

    I didn't go with the sunroof because I need the headroom. Didn't go with the SRT for gas mileage. I'd love to have a titanium colored one but color options are limited with the road/track package :(

    Now begins the excruciating 8-12 week wait. I guess the good news is that the worst of our snow should be over by then so I can put off the dedicated snow tires until next year. Plus I have to cross a mountain pass to get the car, so not wrecking my brand new car on the way home would be nice.

    After I get it and sell my current car, I'll be adding a few options:
    Bra (probably, not 100% sure on this yet)
    Trailer hitch
    Mopar cold air intake
    Dedicated snow tires

    Congrats on the purchase, and welcome to ownership of the coolest car on the road.

    The Mopar intake is a rip-off, go with afe s2 or the air hammer.

    The AFE and 'Hammer do perform better, but the Mopar is a solid unit. I scored used ones for $200 for both my mags and they were well worth that much. Now for the price of a new one, not so much... but used ones pop up on here every so often. In fact there was a 5.7 intake for sale just last week IIRC. Depends on what you wanna spend.

    Correct, I should have chosen my words better. Not worth the almost $400 they ask for a new one, but well worth the price at $200 for a used one.

    Is there anywhere to order Mopar parts cheaply online? Sort of like gmpartsdirect.com is for GM.

    Mopar Supercenter (supporting vendor) can do as good as anyone else in the States. Eastway (also supporting vendor) can hook you up in Canada (dunno where Spokane is or if that'd be useful to you or not).

    Awesome dude! I can't wait to order mine. I want the same road and track package too but black and no mygig, got my eyes on a sweet kenwood deck. Hope you don't have to wait too long!

    Anyone tried an SRT Mopar intake on an R/T?

    I'm running the Mopar intake, but the filter got changed out to one about twice the size.
    2006 Magnum SRT8 - 11.85@117
    2007 SuperBee SRT8 - 12.21@117
    2011 300 Limited - Who cares, it's good on gas and the chick digs it.
