Its been hit!!!

Fuk, I am driving through a 4 way and this stupid German stationed here runs the light and takes out the rear end. I know God was looking out for me because if I wouldnt have gased it when my wife said "sh*t" he would have hit the door and my 4 month old sitting there.

Thankfully I kept my cool, even without a cigarette(which I wanted).Here is the wost part unless I tear off the rest of the bumper it cant be driven till its fixed. Which leaves us to my Jeep Rubi because we dont have the money to rent a car.

I am just hoping I can find a good shop to get it fixed. This was suspose to be the good car, I dont want to trade it in because of the 05 warranty and it only has 20K on the engine but know its label as crashed.

Ok, I will step down and cry now...

2) those who run red lights
3) those who run stop signs
4) those who drive in the left lane slowly instead of following the damn traffic
5) those who drive the wrong way in a small street or can't keep their butts in the right lane.

First off. I'm glad you and your family are OK.

The good news is that accidents cause a bunch of unseen damage. You might get a total loss verdict out of your insurance company. Just find an honest collision shop to do your estimate. Don't go with the shop the insurance co. refers you to. They are getting business from the insurance company and will, more times than not, swing their way. Go to whatever shop you please.

As mentioned, the other drivers insurance is responsible for the rental. Stick it to them, and make sure they give you a decent car..They always try to give you a subcompact car...Get something equivalent to the Magnum at least. It seems always that the non-fault driver suffers the most in an accident for all different kinds of reasons.

Ditto!!! Glad to hear you and your family didn't get hurt. I've been in a few accidents in the past myself. The other guys insurance is a pain in the ass. Luckily to date, since my last accident 11/2004, have been lucky not to be involved in another one. No accidents with my last car, the 2001 Taurus SEL, and none so far with my 2006 R/T. They should cover rental somehow since their guy was at fault.

I am very glad that your wife saw him in time for you to hit the gas! Big cars are great for hauling little ones as they have a lot of protection from hits like this. Glad everyone is ok!

Well it looks like its only visual damage, had a estimate done and it will cost 2,6K so not to bad. I didnt get much info from the driver and the cops didnt help out one bit. 2-10 days for a report to be done.

The good thing is the door ding will be fixed as well and the spolier painted to match for free. I was going to wait for a spoiler but decided the stock one isnt to bad.
