    If you could design it..

What would you want for your Magnum? Three things I would want to see in production of the Magnum:

    1) The rear seats folding into the floor for a flat rear cargo area

    2) The rear tailgate window to open so if you did need to have something hang out the rear window you could

    3) A 3rd row seat that looked out the back window!

I know #3 is a dream, but remember the good old days? I used to sit in the back of grandma's Bonneville and loved it. I know its probably a safety thing, but if they could design it, I think I would let my wife drive and i would sit back there just for old time sake!

    What would you want?
    2006 R/T AWD
    Silver Steel Metallic
D'Vinci Havoc XL 20's Toyo Proxy ST 255/45/20
    Superchips Flashpaq, 180 T-stat
SRT Nose/Magnum Force Hood, SRT Door handles
Mopar/Borla 112 sitting im my garage next to my Frankenintake(damn im lazy)

Agree with 1 and 2, and 3 would be great nostalgia!

    Hm...for me:

    - Vent/wing windows. I miss those! More nostalgia.

    - Radio mute button on the steering wheel.

    - Cruise controls on the wheel, rather than the stalk, and turn signals in the conventional spot.

    - A bit more interior dress-up, maybe some wood trim.

    - Fold-flat front passenger seat.

    I'll probably think of more...

I could care less about a third seat, but how about an optional six speed, the CRD engine that's for sale in Europe and the two door coupe and convertible versions shown a few years ago as concepts?

I wouldn't change much. I agree with the cruise controls on the wheel, but with the stereo controls there, where would you put them? I would want to be able to choose options a la carte instead of packages that include stuff nobody really wants. Options on wheels and tires.

How about the 7 speed auto from MB and steering wheel paddle shifters?

    Wider rear wheels on SRT.

6 speed, removable rear seats and removable passenger side seat. Better shocks, aluminum block hemi to save a few pounds. Retro the seats( old style pleats) not plaid lol.

Two tone paint options like the '50's wagons

Flat folding rear seats (I am agreeing with this from the previous writer)

Rear hatch window opening independently from the tailgate

Traditional tailgate instead of the hatch

Bigger rear window wiper - the current one doesn't clean much of an area.

    Optional "tuck 'n roll" upholstery....

you know for that matter, why not a 50's wagon option consisting of some of the goodies you'd expect with it...hey DC, what about nostalgia type option packages?

I know the last generation of Jeep GC's had controls on the back of the steering wheel too...(volume and such)...so that is do-able. I do like the idea of the rear window opening or it could be like the 4 runners and old Broncos and roll down...I always liked that. I definately would be down for a bigger engine and less curb weight too.

    I think they should add:
    1) reclining rear seats and maybe seat heaters/coolers all around
    2) Electronic controlled AWD.....where you can have either RWD or AWD....that would be great for winter and/or playing around

How about a real high tech engine direct from AMG like a supercharged multivalve, OHC V8 or V12?

    A 6-speed with a pistol grip,

    Bulge or ram-air hood.

I like the rear window open idea

How about side windows like a mini van that open as well?

    300 front end option .
