I have a 06 awd 5.7 magnum great car 135000 miles on her well when i get to about 1500-2000 rmp it bucks and shakes ... no codes tried the key dance and nothing it will accelerate just fine and when you hammer it it is just fine it is just when i am coming from indle while cruise and give it gas will it start.. i just donk know
could it be a bad coil pack or could it be the egr i have no clue thus i turn to you on here to help me out please grammar next weeks topic but for now i neeed to get her mag running better thanks jason your friendly neighborhood firefighter and band-aid taxi driver

Sounds like when my EGR was going. Eventually it threw a code. P0406

Shes going to the stealership tues its got a wierd wine too either frim the wheels or the drive train cant explain it first thought it was a bearing so I changed the hub but that wasnt it....

bad coil pack would probably throw a specific cylinder mis-fire code. if you got this, you could swap coil packs between cylinders to see if the code followed. if it does, you likely have an issue with that coilpack. X2 on the possible trans convertor. does it feel like a shudder or actual loss of power?

Just a shudder. It really happens at 1500-2200 rpms. her mag has 135k im hoping maybe it just needs a fluid flush and filter change ? as for a coil pack that was my first thought but there are no codes being thrown????
that does sound similar to the trans shudder issue. fluid flush and change may help or possibly some friction modifier. I'm no expert on this topic, but know there is a wealth of infomration on it that can be found pretty easily on the forum here. GL

A good cleaning of the TB and check the MAF sensor at the rear of the intake.
EGR a def possibility. Also check for a vacuum leak front or rear.
How many miles on the plugs?

Ok update and 225 dollars later.... Bad tranny fluid...dealer where I boight never changed the fluid... 136k and it looked like black slime instead of red... So after two chsnges of fkuid sges up and running so ill tske her on a road trip and bring her home and change the fluid one more time....
Don't forget the filter.

Shes all good now.....moral of the story never trust another dealershipdo the work yourself or hover over the shop to make sure its done and done right....they showed me the old fluid it was lije syrup instead of atf4.....but crisis adverted thanks all
Make sure you keep a record of this......chances are you are not done. Don't mean to be doom and gloom but if it got so bad the trans was whining I wouldn't be surprised if you don't have other issues going on. Takes a lot of clutch material to make ATF4 or any other trans fluid get like syrup.
