    Headers & midpipe

I have a chance to get my hands on a set of OEM Headers and Cat's with intact mid's from a 09 Charger SRT8. My questions are:

    1. What is the going market rate on this type of set up (less than 300 miles on it)?

    2. Is it worthwhile getting a used srt8 set up or should I get new shorties and hi flows instead ie JBA ect?

    2. Would used srt8 set up directly bolt on to a 05 magnum RT? Do I need to do any cutting, welding ect? Would the dimesion of the srt midpipe fit my cat back exhaust (Borla 112) perfectly?

Thank you in advance for your advice.

I got my SRT exhaust manifolds & midpipes for $225.

The SRT exhaust manifolds are better than JBA shorties. I can't speak for the SRT midpipes vs JBA highflows, except that my combo bolted right up, and threw no codes.

The SRT manifolds bolt right up. Use SRT OEM bolts, and you will also need a 1/2" spacer for the disptick bolt. If you want to continue to use your EGR system, you will need to cut a groove on the outside edge of the #2 cylinder (passenger side, closest to the front) manifold port. Use 5.7 gaskets or adapt the 6.1 gasket accordingly for this groove.

Not sure about the midpipe to catback fit, but that should be a simple job for any muffler shop.
