    GSM fan mod info needed.

I have a 180 thermostat and I was thinking of the GSM fan/esp off mod, and I was wondering what those two buttons are for.
Is one button for the fan on/off mod and the other one for the esp on/off?
or, is the fan mod always on and the two buttons are for the esp mod (one for on the other one for off)?

    Thanks!

Do you have to turn it on (fan button) every time you start the car? (if so then it's pain in the butt mod, always having to remenber to turn it on when you turn on the car)

Any other mod that can lower the fan temp setting permanently? (ie: stock turns on at 220, just a guess, mod will turn it on at 210 or so)

You can buy a sensor that goes into the radiator hose thats adjustable and you can set it at any temp you want. Jegs or Summit. I dont know how any of the other electronics would be effected though, if any. If you make your own battery connection, I dont see how anything else would be effected.

BTW, do you know the stock on/off fan temp settings on th RT?
When does the big fan turn on/off, and when does the small fan turn on/off?

Both fans turn on around 215 F.
I'll probably get this, and set it at 200 F. I'll keep you posted.

Not trying to derail the thread, but are there any cons to the GSM torque/fan mod kit? I hear lotsa pros, so I thought I'd see if anyone has negative comments on it.

Anyone have some pics of their installation? Looks like there was vaseline on the lense of camera GSM took the pic w/ on their website... :(

I ordered one a week or so ago. Let you know when I get it in. Superchips still seems to have too many issues for me. Im putting off that till they got all the bugs out, then may sell the GSM.

I probably missed it, but who's running with the Superchips tune and the GSM ESP/fan mod? Can you run both or is it one or the other?

Not yet, still looking around, but I may not do that mod, because when the A/C is on, my fans turn on at 195, which is good for my 180 thermostat that actually runs at 185, so with the A/C on it stays between 180 and 200.
