    Got Dinged ...

Not even really sure when it happened, just sure it didn't happen while driving (no impacts...) Best guess is that either it got banged by one of the flatbed carts at Costco, or (hopefully not) somebody kicked it.

Haven't had a chance to try "popping" it back out. It looks like I'll need to remove some screws/bolts to get the bottom shield out of the way to access the backside of the bumper facia.

with that scratch in the dent, it looks like you may have gotten costco'ed. hopefully, it will pop back out and you buff out the scratch.

Sorry to see this man. My heart sank when I saw it. Im not a cynical person but I have to say that it looks more like a boot from someone's shoe. If it was a costco cart you would not see a round dent, it would be more of a vertical dent etc. You would also see more of a crease in the bumber.

It's kinda sickening to think that someone would actually kick the car, but those people do exist. It does look like it was hit with something rounded, so unless the Costco carts have rubber bumpers on the corners, I wouldn't think that was it. I hope it pops out and buffs up okay. Good luck.

Man that bites! Are those scratches or cracks in the paint just above and below the crease on the left side of the pic?

you'll be able to push the dent out from the inside... just pule the screws at the bottom of the fascia to get up in there. Prolly wont see the paint cracks or the scratches much after that. After a while, the paint will begin to flake where those crack are.

Grrrrrrr... I had a cab driver door the crap out of my car at the gas station, because of that I always park it at the pumps...

I swear to go people are effing inconsiderate, I've even resorted to parking sideways at the shopping mall taking up two spots. If they ticket me i dont care a 20$ parking ticket is cheaper than having a dent pulled.

Be careful about doing that. Some people will go out of their way to do damage to your car just because you took 2 spaces.

Has anyone else noticed that no matter how far away in the lot you park, there is ALWAYS someone parked right next to you when you come out? My son mentioned this to me the other day, I didn't really notice but he did.

Yeah, I call that the movie theater affect. Same thing happens in a completely empty movie theater.

I've been pretty lucky so far. I park so far out in the lot that I'm usually still alone when I get back to the car.

I don't think you can kick the fascia hard enough to made a dent like that. Looking at the pictures I think it was Costco flatbed cart. I think if you kicked it, the fascia would absorb the shock and not dent. Lemme go kick my Magnum and I'll report back to you later.

    Yes, I am only kidding.
