    Gas Mileage with 22's on RT

    Im thinkin about putting black 22's on my black r/t. just wondering what kind of gas mileage it gets with them on...any help would be awesome...thanks!

    22s on my sxt gets the same a my stock 17s.

    There's no reason that gas mileage should change based on wheel diameter. Mine didn't when I put 22's on.

    I put 22's on last month.
    Havent noticed a difference in gas usage/mile.
    What I have noticed is a MASSIVE increase in thumbs up/mile!!

    just drove from indiana to philly, 20 mpg avg...loaded with my girlfriends dorm stuff cruisin at 80

    nice! yeah i just didnt know how it would be because of the weight of the rim and the v8...my buddy has a 4runner v6 with 22's and got liek 12 mpg when he usually got 20 something...anyway i appreciate the help, andone recommend some rims? black or chrome...i was looking at TIS and DUB, give suggestions on what looks good on the magnum...i also want a rim with a big lip...

    i put TIS 07's on my R/T, and i lost about 2 mpg in the city and 1 in the highway.
    its not the fact that your wheel is .0003 inches off from stock, its the fact that 22'S WAY A ****ING TON!!!!!! My TIS's on Pirelli 265/35/22's weighed in almost 50% heavier than a stock 18.

    xactly - if the overall height is the same - nothing changes. You might have a few more lbs, but I can't see that even making a difference.
