    Thats ok. THEY (GM) stole the swinging/drop tailgate from Chrylser ,who used it first in 1971 on the Satellite/Coronet Wagons.
    They also have the sliding roof ( oh, I am sorry - THEIRS is POWER) taken from the Studebaker Lark station Wagon, If I remember correctly. :lol:

    No he didn't, but he was the first to make mass production successful and apply it to automobiles.
