Funny you ask....I just found out this info...it pertains to both the Magnum and the 300.

I wonder how they get around battery fumes in the cabin on the Magnum?

This vehicle is equipped with a single 12-volt battery located in the rear floor area near the spare tire.

I am asuming there will be some sort of vent tube to the outside of the vehicle. DOT standards mandate that there has to be.

Well that is a lot easier to get to than 2 gen Intrepids, I wonder if there are jump posts under the hood? They should use an optima style, hope the cabling is well routed.

Well, that'll make it a lot easier to wire up a custom sound system.

Also mounted in the rear may make for better weight distribution and better rear wheel traction.

Yea ,but some of us will probably get some low profile tires and aftermarket rims. :D I can't believe I'm stoked for a station wagon.

No battery in the engine bay means more room for play (ie turbo/SC).
