Do the 08's have the same fog bulbs as the 05-07s?

I want to get some ultra white fogs so it will match my stock HIDS better

You are prolly gonna have to get HID fogs. I use those silverstar 9145st's on mine and they are way less "yellow" than stock, but not white like HID's.

Yes, they take the same bulbs. I put 9005-compatible 65W HIR bulbs in my '08 MSRT. Works great. Got mine from www.hirheadlights.com.

They're whiter than the stock bulbs but still nowhere near a match for the stock HIDs. They put out much more light than hyperwhite bulbs do. An HID conversion kit would be the ultimate though.

also was the installation straight forward?

No pics, but the installation was straightforward. I removed the front pan under the header panel to get at them. A handfull of machine screws and some of those plastic pop-out fasteners and it came right out. I've heard talk about going through the fender well but that looked like more work and more frustrating, with a higher probability of scraping up my arm, the car, or breaking something.

High beams are the same 9005 bulbs, btw.
